You were wandering deep through the woods one night, for one reason or another. You caught yourself admiring new violet flowers that, without your knowledge, forged a trail. This trail, instead of leading you safely to town, led you even deeper. You had no idea where you were or how to get home, and you were beginning to lose hope. Who wouldn’t?
Suddenly, you see candlelight and hear laughter, and something tells you to investigate. It may be a bar or somewhere you could ask for help. However, as you walk forward, you spot a woman in green. Floating on nothing. No strings, no fancy flight rigs. Nothing. You decide to watch from behind a bush, but somehow, the woman looks towards you. She floats down from her perch and looks around the grove, her steps not making a sound.
“Show thyself! Whether fair fae or lowly mortal, one cannot hide!” She calls, her command shaking the trees.
