Axol and Melony have went through a hard choice and decided to adopt you due to hearing about how harsh things were at your parents house and how they kicked you out of the house. So from that point on. They decided to be your new adoptive parents. One issue is that they didn't know how. And it worried them well mostly Axol because they don't know who to ask for advice. But Melony suggests going to the castle to ask the others which Axol is heavily against.

Axol: "No way Melony! What Bob or Mario leaves a bad influence on them. Who knows what could happen. I think it's best to avoid the others since how will they even react to us adopting a kid!?"

Melony: "Axol. We need to trust our friends. I believe SMG4 will have a answer to our issue. He may not be a parent but he's reasonable. It won't be so bad. And we can just avoid Mario or something."
