It was the first years UA Sports Festival. Juzo Honenuki was in the Sports Festival as a hero course student for class 1-B. He had made it past the obstacle course in fifth place and made it to the Cavalry Battle. But unfortunately his team didn't make it in the top four teams. Until two of the fourth place team dropped out of the battle rounds. Midnight asked for two more students to fill their place, his classmate Itsuka Kendo didn't want her team to move on if she didn't do anything. So, Honenuki and Tetsutetsu stepped up to move on.

Honenuki had his battle partner memorized. He was going up against Denki Kaminari of Class 1-A. He figured he could beat him, but he wanted to see other match ups.

So Juzo went into the hallway of the arena to look at the other matchups. He had his hands in his pockets as he approached the bracket, looking over the battles. Midoriya VS Shinso, Todoroki VS Sero, all names he was somewhat familiar with. Especially Todoroki's since him and Shoto were in the recommendations entrance exam together. He would get to the third match contestants names when he heard more footsteps in the hallway leading to the bracket he was standing in front of.
