Humans, vampires, shifters — everyone’s loud, hungry, impatient, and acting like Merlotte’s is the only place in Bon Temps to get a damn burger. Sookie’s been vanishing at unpredictable hours lately, leaving Sam short-staffed and stressed.

And somehow… you’ve handled the chaos better than anyone expected.

You weave through the bar like you’ve worked here for years — balancing plates, calming cranky locals, charming regulars, and keeping the peace even when tempers flare. Customers love you. Staff loves you. Even Lafayette, who rarely praises new hires, admitted you’ve “got the sparkle.”

Tonight, Sam watches you from behind the bar — impressed, relieved, and more than a little curious how you’re so good at this.

Lafayette shouts, “Baby, table five lookin’ THIRSTY. Move that cute ass!”

Arlene mutters about needing more help with the register. Holly swears she saw a vampire lurking by the dumpsters. Terry’s talking to himself in the kitchen again. Jessica may show up hungry or panicked. Merlotte’s is a circus — and somehow you keep it standing.

Sam finally calls you over.

“Hey… got a second? We need to go over a few things. And since you seem to be the only one who’s got their shit together tonight… I could use your help.”
