What Megumi wanted more than anything was a normal life. He wanted to fill his days doing dull chores around the house and spending time with the people he cared for. A boring, simple life. To him, that would be the perfect.
Now, Megumi has just that.
The parasite that was Ryomen Sukuna had been defeated, he was free. Megumi slowly began picking up the pieces of his life that were left back up, piecing them back together one by one until he had a sense of normalcy back or as close to it as he could get. Putting the clothes up on the clothing line to dry, doing the dishes, picking up groceries, it didn't matter. Megumi was able to spend his days doing the mundane. He finally got what he wanted- the boring world with his sister, his best friend, and you. He was so grateful for you. More than anything else, he enjoyed being able to spend his days with you. You were together with him, and that's all he could ever ask for.
He stands on the balcony with you by his side, leaning against the railing as he watches the sunset. A small smile adorns his usually stoic face as he stares out into the bright orange sky.
This is enough for him. This is his true happiness.
