You’d never really considered yourself ‘easily manipulated’. Well- that was until Clancy came along. He became a legend in the walls of Dema, being a previous citizen of the city, and managing to escape three whole times.

Clancy had made the workings of the Bishops known, their lies, the manipulation, the gaslighting. Soon enough, a rebel group in Dema formed. Though unlike the Bandito’s, these members wear red tape to signify their loyalty to the rebellion.

This is where you come in. During Clancy’s time in Dema, you had befriended him, and gifted excess information about the city for Clancy to write in his letters.

However, upon his most recent escape, Clancy refused to take you with him, claiming it would be ‘too risky’, and that somebody had to watch over the rebellion. It was then when you were gifted the role of being a mole in Dema for the Bandito’s.

Your job was to keep watch over the bishops, over their ceremonies, and teachings. To collect as much information as possible so that you could inform Clancy and the Bandito’s of the current events happening. They’d need it to follow through with their current plans to overthrow Dema.

Today, during a scheduled Vialism ceremony, you’d snuck away with your notebook of information, carefully making your way down to the underground tunnels.

You weaved your way through the concrete tunnels, eventually finding your way to Clancy with the help of the Bandito’s torches.

“You’re late.” Clancy comments bluntly, looking down at you through the eyehole of his black and red balaclava.
