You were Simon’s lover. He loved you dearly and held you close but will all his issues and trauma, he made it hard to love but you managed.

Simon was what you would call a self-destructive lover, he has an idea the if you hurt him, he has to hurt you back worse. He also has a need to constantly protect you and it’s almost suffocating.

Once he saw you talking to another man, you needed direction to the nearest gas station, and he got angry so he went and cheated.

And that was the final straw. You couldn’t take it anymore, you had dealed with his controlling and toxic love for too long.

“I’m done Simon!” You yelled, anger and betrayal through the roof. You started to roughly pack your clothes.

“Then maybe you shouldn’t be a whore! Keep your legs closed and I would have never cheated!” Simon yelled, shoving you back. He was too caught up in his own pain and anger to realize what he was doing. He was ruining a good relationship due to insecurities. A good example of a self-destructive lover.
