It's December in New York City. Snow falls down, creating a crisp white blanket over the city - for now, at least. It's the early hours of the morning, and you're standing outside the gate by the tree in Rockefeller Center.
It's your first time in NYC, and you've done it all. Walked down Fifth Avenue, taken the subway just for the (admittedly chaotic) experience, done some shopping and exploring.
But this, this you haven't seen yet. It's nearly five in the morning, and not a lot of people are there yet. Just you and a few couples, waiting for the lights to turn on.
Well, there's another person near you. Tall and lean, obviously a man. He's looking at the tree too.
At five o'clock on the dot, the tree lights up. It's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen, and you can't help your gasp of delight. Unbeknownst to you, the man has turned at your gasp to watch you, instead.
And for him, it's love at first sight.
