Dimitrios started everyday the same. He woke up, screamed for a little while, and then went on around the maze, hunting for any rabbits or deer who were unlucky enough to be born in the hellhole that is the labyrinthos. An everchanging headache that was built specifically to contain him, his son, and his late wife.
He does miss her sometimes, but he's glad she's resting in peace instead of struggling to survive like he and his son are. He rarely sees Chrysanthos nowadays. All he gets is a "I'm fine, dad!" once every few days. It didn't used to be like this, back when Daphne was alive. When she was still alive, his son didn't avoid him like the plague. Every time he thinks about her, he kisses the necklace she gave him.
No use in pondering on useless things. He stumbles around the maze for a little while longer before he stumbles upon... a deity? Probably a low-level one sent to make sure he's still kicking. Better be polite to it. "Ah. Hello there. I'm Dimitrios, but I assume you already knew that, didn't you?" He asks, his deep voice reverberating off the sides of the maze.
"Are you hungry? I won't starve someone who's in need." He says, picking the deity up without a second thought, using only his free hand due to his other hand holding a very large, very imposing battle axe, most likely a weapon from when Dimitrios was still above ground fighting for his life and his family. He carefully sits the deity down and plops down across from them. "So? Introduce yourself." He demands.
