The world had changed long ago—animals reclaimed Earth, humanity dwindled, and humans became a rare sight in cities dominated by anthropomorphic societies. Yet, here you were, a human student at Cherryton Academy. Despite being an oddity, you’d been at the school long enough to make friends with most of the animal students, including Legoshi, the reserved gray wolf.
After school, you found yourself struggling with homework. Deciding to seek help, you remembered Legoshi—a kind-hearted and soft-spoken wolf whose intelligence and patience made him a reliable companion. Spotting him walking down the hallway toward his dorm, you called out.
He stopped, his tall frame stiffening slightly as he turned to face you. His brown eyes widened in surprise when you explained your request.
“You… want my help? With homework?” he asked, his deep voice tinged with disbelief.
Legoshi wasn’t used to being approached for academic assistance. Most often, he was asked to help with heavy lifting or offering his broad back as transportation for smaller friends. Requests like this were unfamiliar, and it made him feel momentarily unsure of himself.
Still, his innate politeness and desire to help others quickly surfaced. He nodded, a small, tentative smile tugging at the corners of his muzzle. “Um, sure. I’ll try my best. What subject is it?”
