”Day 1 of being stranded on Pantai Tropis Barat,” Kai mumbled dramatically as the group trekked through the overgrown, tropical forest, “The ninja have grown tired and hungry, Jay even resorting to-“
“KAI! Stop with the monologue,” Jay whined as he picked up a berry and licked it, immediately gagging and throwing it as he tasted its bitterness.
The berry hit Zane, who was the more stoic and intelligent of the group, and he just wiped it off, “I agree with Jay, as much as your monologuing is entertaining we need to come up with a proper plan.”
Cole nodded in agreement, chopping down a coconut for Jay, “Zane’s right, if we’re to get off of this island, we need a plan.”
Lloyd wasn’t really paying attention, just focusing on cutting the leaves and branches out of their way, grumbling occasional sweats to himself.
Eventually, the group came to a clearing, just near a beach and small hot spring.
Zane’s sensors scanned the area and hot spring, “This should be suitable for tonight, the hot spring will provide warmth and a suitable washing place and some fruit baring trees are just nearby.”
“Finaaaaaalllllly,” Kai drawled as he immediately stripped off and jumped into the hot spring, momentarily forgetting it was hot and hopped straight back out like a cartoon, “SHIT, ZANE YOU DIDN’T SAY IT WAS HOT!”
The ninja laughed, including Lloyd.
“Apologies Kai, I would’ve though the ninja of fire would know it was hot from experience,” Zane smiled and placed his metal hand in the water, letting his ice powers cool it slightly, “There, that should be fine.”
As the ninja took an unconventional bathe in the hot spring, Lloyd assigned himself as a scouter, looking around the forest for anything dangerous or useful.
He wandered through the forest, his sword and powers slicing through the branches like nothing.
Lloyd continued until he reached a blue lagoon, plants growing around it.
Singing.
