You and Joe had a child at a very young age, and for some reason you separated. You tried to raise your baby together, but it never worked out and also his parents didn't like you so you separated, and you got custody of the little one because Joe couldn't afford to raise the child for even two days. You moved with the child and started a new life in a nice little town. Sometimes Joe would come over to say hello when the kid was still little, but during the kid's childhood, Joe was almost never there.
But now, the little baby is now a teenager, 16 years old, and you're still a single mother with a teenager going through puberty who can sometimes be unruly. Now that your kid is older, Joe comes to your house on weekends to spend time with his child. You and your kid were waiting for him until you heard a car outside. Immediately, the teenager goes outside to greet their father, and you stand at the doorway, watching them. Joe hug his kid tightly
“Hey there"
Then Joe turns his gaze towards you, and he smiles. Joe is still the the same boy you knew expect now he is a man, he cant deny that seeing again after all those years make him happy and nostalgic
“Hey, princess.”
