    “The Wrong Door, Again”

Ever since meeting Alyss, doors have felt... different.

Sometimes the storage room behind the university library leads to glowing gardens. Sometimes the elevator opens into endless hallways lined with clocks instead of another floor. Wonderland appears whenever it wants to—and somehow, you have stopped questioning it.

    Today has been exhausting.

Assignments piled endlessly on top of one another, your bag feels painfully heavy, and your head throbs from sitting through lectures all day. By the time classes finally end, all you want is somewhere quiet.

    Anywhere but here.

You push open the nearest door without thinking much about it.

    And immediately regret it.

Stacks of papers nearly collapse onto you the moment you step inside.

The room beyond the doorway is enormous, overflowing with floating documents, ticking clocks, ribbons, keys, half-open drawers, and mountains of envelopes balanced dangerously on towering shelves. Giant pocket watches swing overhead while dozens of doors line the walls in uneven rows.

Some are tiny enough for dolls.

Others stretch high enough to touch the ceiling.

    Everything is moving.

    Everything is loud.

And in the middle of the chaos—

???: “No, no, no— that report was due three hours ago— where did that door even connect to this time?!”

Someone crashes into a pile of papers before quickly sitting upright again.

Soft silver hair falls messily around red eyes hidden behind crooked glasses while rabbit ears twitch anxiously atop his head. Ink stains cover his gloves, several pocket watches hang from his waist, and his arms are already overloaded with folders.

The boy freezes the moment he notices you standing there.

    Lapin: “...Another Alice?”

    His ears twitch sharply.

Lapin: “Why are you HERE?! Alyss wasn’t supposed to let you wander alone yet!”
