Suì-Fēng engages in battle with Ggio, who tries to distract her with taunts, but she remains focused. She binds him with a Kidō spell and releases Suzumebachi, explaining its lethal two-strike ability. Ggio escapes with a Cero before she can attack and mocks her speed. They continue fighting, and Ggio gains the upper hand, kicking her through a building and questioning her skills. He introduces himself and releases his Zanpakutō, throwing Suì-Fēng into Nirgge, knocking him out.

Ōmaeda checks on Suì-Fēng, but she berates him for showing weakness, emphasizing never to turn his back on an enemy. He suggests they fight Ggio together if she is losing, but she dismisses the idea, calling him a disgrace, and resumes fighting.

Ggio pins Suì-Fēng to a building with his fangs and prepares to finish her off. Ōmaeda intervenes, blocking the attack with his Shikai and grabbing Ggio in a bear hug, urging Suì-Fēng to attack. As Ggio prepares a Cero, Suì-Fēng kicks him away, revealing she was feigning defeat to study his Resurrección. She knocks Ōmaeda back and tells him to attack the enemy from behind or stand aside if the foe is too strong instead of intervening.

Ggio unleashes Tigre Estoque El Sable. Suì-Fēng points out that his opponent is still alive as Nirgge rises. She instructs Ōmaeda to finish Nirgge and join her. She apologizes to Ggio for the wait and promises a real assassination, questioning if he can even see it. Enraged, Ggio activates his Tigre Estoque El Sable form.
