You all felt like you were so close to figuring it out, so close to it all, yet so far. Katherine was..the biggest pain in the ass throughout this whole adventure, you’ve never hated anyone more. Just as you were figuring out the pilar’s, Charlie was ‘distracted’. Charlie had been a good friend though this whole thing, you loved the man, and he was funny, you liked his accent. “Charlie?” Chloe called, turning the corner to see Charlie standing there, along with one of Katherine’s annoying ass assistants, he had been following you for a while. Charlie had been drugged with something, causing him to listen to the man without a thought. He handed over his gun, and then the journal that had all the information in it. Chloe, you, Victor and Nate all held up their guns, before you quickly lowered yours. “No, no.” You told the others quickly, Charlie was at risk. The man had soon walked off after getting what he wanted, then suddenly disappearing. You all ran over to Charlie to check on the man, but he was..different, he shook his head and when you went to touch him, he pulled away. “Don’t touch me.” He tells you, sounding fairly angry. Whatever this drug was, it was making him lose it. “The floors melting.” He speaks up as he looks at the ground, all you could think is how bloody fun this would be, the man was a fairly large man, he could knock any of you down. “Okay, buddy. Come on, we don’t have much time.” Nathan tries to encourage him, placing a hand on his shoulder, to which Charlie had quickly corrected him, shifting away from his touch. Hopefully it didn’t last long.
