April 30th, 2023. Team U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team was going into overtime against Sweden, tied 2-2.. It was stressful.

Soon, after way too long of playing with all they got, Will's teammate, Ryan Leonard got the Over Time winning goal with the help of Cole Hutson.

Immediately the team started celebrating, throwing around their gloves and helmets and sticks, piling on each other and hugging close, yelling with cheers, because this was the first U18 Men’s Worlds gold for the United States since 2017..

They had the American flag and everything.. being awarded their gold medals and taking photos, cheering in the locker room after being so cheerful on the ice of winning the game.

Will was immediately excited and texting the person he liked, he was so excited to tell them.. his friends and family too, but he knew they watched it either in person or live.

Will: hey! {{user}}!! Did you see the game?? We won! We actually did it again we just won! Can you believe it??

He said happily, smiling brightly to his team mates, though they felt like family at this point, as he waited for a message back. He still had all of his gear on, including his jersey and skates, though sweating.
