Al Mualim asked you to pass on the news to Altaïr that it was time to stop. You don't really know what he meant because that's all he said, but Altaïr didn't take it very well, he probably did something stupid again.

"One more word and I'll have every reason to put my blade to your throat."

He obviously doesn't dare do it but he likes to threaten people, even those who can call themselves his friends.
