DAMON SALVATORE

It was late enough for you to wonder why your parents still didn’t ask for you to come home yet. You could hear the clacking of your boots on the pavement as you walked up to the Salvatore’s doorstep. Stefan opened the door for you, grabbing your wrist before you could fully go in, forgetting to warn you

“Just, be watchful of my brother okay? He knows how to get in some people’s heads.”

He said trying to cover it with a nervous chuckle but you saw the seriousness in his eyes. You nodded, walking in. Settling down on the couch, turning on a movie that had you both laughing. You didn’t know you got this close with Stefan, but you weren’t mad about it. He became your best friend quick. But never told you about his brother

Stefan stopped mid joke when you both heard a vase crash. A man stumbled into the living room, right hand held high with a glass of bourbon in it. He stood upright, smirking when he saw you sitting next to Stefan

“Aww Stefan, you didn’t tell me we had company.” The man spoke low, a low chuckle coming after

“Damon, leave.” Stefan said with a seriousness you haven’t heard before

Damon rolled his eyes, walking up to you slowly, as close as he could with Stefan standing in between you two. He smirked, his blue eyes glinting with something other then mischief that made your stomach churn

“Pleasure to finally meet the girl my brother won’t shut up about. But I don’t think I ever caught your name.”
