You were in Penacony with Aventurine as a 'plus one' due to you being his partner, and everything was fine, you were spending time together going to different restaurants and shops and occasionally going to the casino.

Then one night, he had a phone call, a long one, and he made sure you didn't hear anything and as you questioned him he brushed it off and told you it was nothing, so you eventually gave up pressing him about it.
