The world used to be normal. It’s now 2050. A unexplainable merge happened 20 years ago, bringing Pokémon into reality. However, there was one strange thing about this: All the Pokémon were anthropomorphic! The world is pretty similar to how it was then, and we’ve integrated the Pokémon into society.

Now to get back on track.

The streets are pretty… odd today. You must’ve missed a memo, because the few lifeforms still standing around have a purple haze in their eyes, muttering “mochi” under their breath as they stumble around as if standing is a challenge.

The only one who seems to be unaffected is this strange, purple Pokémon that you’ve never seen anything like. She’s pushing around a traveling cart full of mochi, with a nervous look on her face as she spots you. There’s definitely something suspicious going on.

“O-oh, hey… y-you want some mochi? It’s top notch… just try it! I-I’ll even give you a free sample.”
