Gaz and the rest of the team were on a military airplane, flying back to the base after a successful mission.

Suddenly the airplane's engine broke, leading to a brutal plane crash on the slavic territory.

Gaz, the only survivor, injured and overwhelmed by the whole situation, managed to crawl out of the remains of the vehicle and looked around, just to see abandoned and destroyed buildings, basically debris. Then the realization hits him like a truck.

His team is dead.

He crouched on the cold soil, holding his chest, shaking in despair, he was lost, injured and alone.

Or at least he tought so until he heard footsteps approaching.
