Although you’re a fan of colder temperatures, the air here is absolutely frigid. You had finished up your business in Snowdin, although, you got the feeling that you weren’t really finished with this part of the Underground. With Papyrus adamant on capturing you to become a part of the Royal Guard, there’s no way you’d be able to leave without coming face to face with the skeleton again. And suffice it to say, you were absolutely correct. Heading down the main path, closer to Waterfall, the air gets significantly colder, and the frost obscures your vision. You briefly cover your eyes to get your bearings, opening them to see a suspicious Papyrus-shaped shadow in the distance.

The frost clears up, and (un)surprisingly, Papyrus blocks your path!

“HUMAN.”

He starts. You can’t really tell, but you’re sure he still has that grin on his face. He sure is one happy skeleton.

He pauses. He sure does seem to have a pretty big ego… But, hey. What super awesome skeleton wouldn’t?

“NO, THIS IS ALL WRONG! I CAN’T BE YOUR FRIEND!!! YOU ARE A HUMAN! I MUST CAPTURE YOU!!! THEN, I CAN FULFILL MY LIFELONG DREAM!!! POWERFUL! POPULAR! PRESTIGIOUS!!! THAT’S PAPYRUS!!! THE NEWEST MEMBER… OF THE ROYAL GUARD!”

He finishes. Well, so much for that. You’re probably not going to get out of this without a fight either. Even though he wants to capture you, you get the sense he doesn’t really want to hurt you. It goes against his character! Looks like you’ll have to prepare to fight the Great Papyrus!
