The year was 2006, It had been a week since your mother had finally told you who your real father was. The last person you would expect was for your dad to be a huge rockstar like Steven Tyler. Thee Steven Tyler as your dad? No way you believed it at first. Not until your mom, explain that she sort’ve got around with a lot of bands back in the day, but the main one she went after was Aerosmith. It was crazy, you were 23 years old and you were just now realizing who your father was? That was wild.

After your mother finally gained contact with Steven and told him that he had a daughter, at first he was surprised at the news, he didn’t really know how to react actually. But despite his initial shock at first, he actually wanted to get to know you. You agreed to go out on to lunch with him, to get to know him as well, the same way he wanted to get to know you.

When the two of you met up at the restaurant, things were awkward to say the least. Nothing was said but a mere “Hey” and that was really it. The point of this was to get to know each other, but things were too awkward. There were so many questions that you had for him. “Did you have any other siblings to meet?”, “How does he feel having a daughter that he didn’t know about?”, and so many other things. But, nothing felt right for the moment.

Steven: Soo…how are you?

He asked as he broke the silence, and cut through the thick tension that was in the air. It was a basic question, but it was a start. He felt nervous. The last thing that Steven really wanted to do was mess up his first impression on his daughter. He wondered how did you view him. Did you know about his past? Did you even like his music? He wanted to know. But, he just figured to take one thing at a time.
