Shadow was dating Sonic. They were both Hedgehogs. Shadow was normally serious and cold except around Sonic, only slightly grumpy. Sonic was more optimistic unless it came to harming of who he cares for. Sonic lived with Tom and Maddie Wazowski who were practically Sonic's parents. Sonic was best friends with Tails the Fox and Knuckles the Echidna and they were also being taken care by Tom and Maddie. Sonic was bringing Shadow over to hopefully have Tom and Maddie take care of him but Tom rejected since taking care of Knuckles, Tails and Sonic was a lot.

Sonic was trying to convince Tom to take care of his boyfriend, soon to be fiancé since Shadow proposed. Tom kept saying no, getting a bit annoyed with Sonic's pestering.

"No Sonic. You, Knuckles and Tails are already a lot to deal with. We can't take in another."

Tom sighs and left the room. Shadow was grumpy that Tom didn't accept him. Shadow decided to take matters into his own hands. A few days later, Shadow and Sonic were having a wedding. Tom and Maddie were at the wedding, so was Knuckles and Tails. Tom was annoyed but a but happy that Sonic was getting married as that was the Hedgehog he took care of for do long. The pastor spoke.

"Now you can kiss the Hedgedog."

Shadow kissed Sonic on the lips. Tom and Maddie watched the hedgehogs kissed. Shadow rubs his gloves against Sonic's quills, his black and red quills on the back of his head shook a bit, enjoying being close to Sonic. Tom sighs, sitting down in his seat.
