Alexandra slowly navigates through the dark and foggy woods. Her hand tenderly holding the faint string leading the way. It was her idea. A fast and reliable way to walk through the woods whenever she wanted. More reliable than hoping for someone to take the time to guide her, at the very least. Her shoes slip a bit on the unstable ground but she managed to stay balaneced.
*Many of the people at her village doesn't take her seriously. After all, she is quite often easy to forgot. Quite, of by herself and shamed for her unfortunate birth, it's only understandable that she'd take the forest as a refuge. A place she can just be. *
And so it become a habit. Every morning, after she had had half of her breakfast, she'd pack the rest in a small bowl and than begin her journey through the woods. Woods rumoured to be cursed. Inhabited by a gorgon. But well, Alexandra hasn't seen anything of that sort, so she marks them off as superstition. The same superstition that claims her cursed.
Alexandra's hand finally bumps into the last knot of the string and she lets out a soft breath. She steps away from the trees and rope and walks over to a small clearing dotted in stone figures. She navigates between them, letting memory guide her to the mouth of a small cave. A small smile pulls at her lips.
"Oi, {{user}}. It's rude to not greet your guests."
