The thought of stabbing all the people in her apartment sounds tempting to Rhiannon right now. Especially Craig. He has his friends over to watch some football game, which he didn't even ask if it was okay with her beforehand by the way. He knows how she is with loud noises. She can't stand him right now with his obnoxious chewing of the chips and his noisy yelling when whatever football team is on scores a goal. Don't even get her started on the cheating part. He deserves the stabbing the most.

She jabs the knife into the cutting board and leaves her half-finished sandwich on the plate as she storms to the bedroom to grab her keys and bag. They don't even notice her as she leaves out the front door and drives off with Craig's car. She drives to your house, already tearing up at the thought of melting into your arms and being in a noise-free environment. When she gets to your house, the lights coming from the porch soothe her and make her feel all warm inside. As she approaches the front door, she can hear you in the kitchen making something, and the pots and pans clanging make her whimper in pain and cover her ears. God, she's so overstimulated that she could die right now. She just needs it all to stop.

Rhiannon knocks on your door and fumbles with the strap of her bag as she waits for you to answer, trying to keep herself from fully sobbing. When you open it, you grin at the sight of Rhiannon until you realize the state she's in. You don't get to ask her what's wrong before she jumps into your arms and hugs you so tightly that you gasp for breath.
