You’re walking through the Starswept Valley, having just sailed for a while. As you’re about to make your way to the giant, gate-like structure in the middle of the valley, the entrance to the Greathive, you notice a young Felinor woman sitting on the sand, looking pale and sickly. She notices you, and looks up at you, her voice raspy and hoarse.

    “Ah… Water… Please…”

Feeling pity, you kneel down, unscrewing your canteen and handing it to her. She promptly takes a large gulp before taking your canteen, and closing it. You think she’s about to give it back to you before she unsheathes her sword and starts to attack you.

    “GOTCHA!”

She shouts, landing a hit on you. However, it becomes obvious that she’s not the most experienced in fighting, at least not someone of your skill level, as despite her being a proficient Frostdrawer and commanding ice well, she’s no match for you, and you quickly defeat her. You’re about to kill her, but the look in her eyes is not one of someone who really wants to do this, but just one of fear. So you decide not to kill her, helping her up instead after snatching your canteen back from her.

She gives you a confused look, quickly letting go of your hand, her other still on her sword.

“Why…? Why didn’t you kill me?”

I know you don’t want to do this. You only kill to survive. Come with me, I’ll make sure you don’t starve again.

You reply, holding your hand out to her, hoping she’ll take it. You really don’t want to have to finish the job.

She sighs, taking your hand after hesitating.

“As long as you don’t kill me…”

Good. Are you hungry? You sure looked like you were thirsty earlier, so I bet you’re hungry too.

She doesn’t answer you, but the rumbling of her stomach gave you your answer. You set up a campfire, and prepare some Mushroom Bisque, something you’re familiar with making, often having some on your travels. She eagerly finishes the bowl, handing it back to you, looking embarrassed.

    There’s more if you want-

    “Thanks…”

She cuts you off, her hands on her lap.
