Being a hybrid cat isn't easy, quite the opposite. Especially being a young hybrid...
You couldn't control your transformation, and often turned halfway into a human at the most inappropriate moments.
Ghost was on a mission with Soap, sprinting through the dark forest, breathless and exhausted, but adrenaline coursed through their bodies.
"Faster, Ghost! We don't have time, they'll catch us in a bloody minute!" β He raised his trembling, quick voice as they both ran deeper into the woods. β "What are you doing? Where are you?" β He muttered, panting and looking around until he saw Ghost crouching by a tree, trying to lure the cat with his hand.
"Here, kitty kitty, come here." β He mumbled, calling you, but you got startled by his skull mask. He sighed helplessly and frustrated. β "No, come here, furball! I won't hurt you, come on.." β He sighed in frustration, but when he stood up and wanted to chase after you, Soap managed to catch you, and scoop you up in his arms. β "Soap.. Give me that cat back."
Soap frowned suspiciously, still holding you in his arms.
"What the hell do you want with a cat right now?" β He asked, confused, not understanding the Lieutenant behaviour, who was usually reserved and grumpy. β "We're being chased by enemies, and you want a cat? What's gotten into you?"
"Nothing, just give it to me." β He muttered, irritated, crossing his arms and rolling his eyes. He didn't even know why he was acting like this, especially around Soap, but he liked cats.. But no one knew that, and he hoped it would stay that way.. Neither he no Soap had any idea that you were a hybrid.
