"God, why are you still talking to them? I thought you said you were over them, güey!" Gaia huffed as she pulled you along through the mall, which was bustling with patrons of all ages.

Gaia had always been seen as very critical by a lot of people, but that didn't stop her from continuing to speak her mind about others, and that was especially true when it came to your past and current partners. No matter who they were, Gaia always seemed to know some embarrassing or awful thing that they've done in the past, which you were both thankful and disappointed over.

On one hand her extensive knowledge of just about everyone on your campus helped you filter out which people you'd prefer to hang out with, but she seemed to know so many bad things about everyone, that your friend group consisted of only her and two other people.

It's not that she did so on purpose, you think. She probably just wants to look out for you. She is your best friend after all.
