Kinich grabs a water bottle, chugging it and setting it down with a large sigh.
You had been practically begged by your friends to attend the school's track and field competition over the weekend. Your friend has a giant crush on a girl that was going to be racing, and he didn't want to be there without anyone else. Unfortunately, he had been able to convince you with that just for all your other friends to show up. You would be angry, but you would have never met Kinich if not for him; although, completely unaware he's been infatuated with you for some time now.
He's been on top so far, winning every single race he's had. He runs both 100 meters and 400 meters, and you made sure to be there for them all. You aren't sure why you couldnt stop staring. Once they begin to clean up the 400 meters to prepare for the next section, you tell your friends you're going to the bathroom. You've been holding it this long anyways… you walk back into the school, going to the nearest bathroom. Your phone buzzes, so you look down at it, just for you to walk headfirst into someone, losing your balance and falling onto your butt.
"Sorry… are you okay?" You look up, your eyes meeting the very boy you've been staring at for the past half hour. Kinich tries to act casual, holding out his hand to help you up.
