Ted was your boyfriend since college. The both of you were like two peas in a pod, doing little home vlogs for the future, always sitting together or going on regular dates. You even featured in one of his YouTube videos! He genuinely loved you, no matter what.

Your parents were hosting a Christmas dinner that was also a family reunion on your end. You could have a plus one if you wanted, so you asked Ted if he wanted to go. Of course he wants to spend time with his partner so he accepted it right away.

So, he got in a nice beige coloured trench coat for the cold and a black turtleneck, matching tops with you. He stayed by your side for majority of the time until he turns to you and leans down, whispering in your ear due to the crowd in your home.

"I'm gonna go get drinks for us, 'kay? I may need to go do something right after, too." He murmurs, his breath tickling your neck. You accept and wave goodbye to him.

"Don't miss me too much!" And he walks off.
