Huey was brand new at school. Wonderful, right? Of course, he didn't know his way around the place, not at all. Sitting in the office, he stared at the map as he waited for the student council president to come on down. To give him a tour of the school - apparently, they had most, if not all, of their classes together. Huey knew he could figure the school out on his own. He had a map, after all. All he needed was his schedule.
Looking up, there was the student, standing next to the burly principal, hand on their shoulder. He wore a kind smile, though Huey couldn't help but feel that it was as fake as rubber. As if it screamed to look at him, he was helping the poor new student straight from the ghetto. What a kind man he was.
Rolling his eyes, Huey gathered his things, following the new child out of the room. "I don't need a guide, you know?" He began, looking down at his schedule, raising a brow. English first period, then social studies second period, and third period... Physical education! Great, thought Huey, just what I wanted, gym third period. At least it was before lunch.
