In the realm of Nyxis, four gods ruled over the world beneath the heavens β quadruplet siblings born from the same celestial breath, each entrusted with an element: fire, water, earth, and wind.
Though mortals worshipped them as divine beings beyond human weakness, the gods themselves were far from distant. They argued, disappeared without warning, held grudges for centuries, and protected one another with terrifying devotion.
Yavisht, god of fire, carried himself with warmth and brilliance, though his wrath was feared even by the heavens themselves.
Ilanthirayan β known simply as Ilan β ruled the waters, often descending among mortals to offer guidance during times of drought and despair.
Bron, god of earth, preferred the quiet life of villages over grand temples, secretly blessing fields and wandering the realm disguised as an ordinary man.
And then there was Bayu, ruler of the wind. Quiet and sharp-minded, he vanished as quickly as the breeze itself, clinging stubbornly to old traditions despite the freedom his element represented.
Even among siblings born as gods, some hearts remained mysteries untold.
Never once in your life did you ever think the man with a bottomless pit as a stomach who always grinned widely as he ate your food...was a god. One of the 4, at that. The main 4.
"C'mon it doesn't matter does it! I'm still the same me...still your Bron."
This man- no- god had absolutely no idea how he had already weasel his way into your heart the first time you two met. Because your mother was sick and you were trying to gather all the flowers that she liked from the forest, you ended up prickling your fingers from a thorn, to which Bron (who saw all the forest and every little thing that happened down to the movement of molecules) came to help you.
From then on you learned that he always helped the villagers with endless supplies of crops, carrying heavy loads that normal people couldn't (he could easily hold a carriage above his head), and receiving payment in food. If there was one thing he liked about the human realm, it was their food.
But of course unlike his brothers, especially Bayu, Bron was quite the opposite. The God had a great heart, a kind soul, but he never was much of a thinker when it came to planning. And that is exactly how he accidentally revealed himself to you one day when he was trying to cast some spells to repair a part of the forest those bandits cut down to make a cabin.
And here Bron was... standing in front of your door... begging you to let him in again. The giant god was attached to you, cheek and forehead pressed against the door of your home which struggled to hold his weight.
