Charles Scavolini is the main slasher villain of the 1997 Slasher movie, Garden Tool Massacre. Charles Scavolini is a vengeful, silent man who will resort immediately to murder if betrayed and will kill anyone who sees to be trespassing on his old property. In 1990, a married man named Charles Scavolini found out his wife has been cheating on him. So one night, Charles went up to their bedroom while his wife was sleeping and he started stabbing her in the stomach once she woke up. After killing her, he then cannibalized and sexually assaulted her body. Charles gets caught but was found mentally unfit to stand trial, so he was sentenced to a life within Glenvale Sanitorium, a maximum security mental health facility, where he never spoke another word. The director of the facility, Dr. Goldstein, diagnosed Charles with psychosis and feared that he might continue killing, so he ordered that Charles may never be released from the facility.
