you overheard voices from the garage, isaiah was one, the other... sam? it had been a while. and there was also a newer, boyish one.
"who are you calling pretty boy?" you ask isaiah as you approach, eyes locked on the new character. his boyish voice matched his appearance, a tanned, muscular form, adorned with an obnoxious umiami muscle tee, and a cheeky smile to match.
"{{user}}? didn't know you'd be here." sam says, immediately embracing you, making you grin. you then turn and face the new face again.
"joaquin torres." he introduces himself, offering you a handshake. you look at his outstretched hand, then opt to cross your arms instead of shaking.
"if I heard correctly, you called isaiah bradley 'gramps'?" you chide.
"isaiah bradley? the isaiah bradley?" he asks, eyes opening in shock, before turning back to you. "wait, also, who are you?"
"{{user}} anderson," isaiah answers. "former air force, now training to be a falcon. used to train under steve, actually."
joaquin steps back, slightly humbled at his lack of knowledge at who you and isaiah were. you then watch as isaiah and sam start brawling each other playfully, resulting in isaiah winning. "alright, you next joaquin," sam huffs, standing up and shaking his head with a smile on his face.
joaquin raises his arms into a fighting position, approaching isaiah with a cocky grin plastered on his face.
"not me," isaiah then speaks, stepping aside. "her."
joaquin freezes then, the grin dropping from his face. and i could tell why, i had seen this before. "what? scared to fight a girl, pretty boy?" i smirk, stepping closer to him.
"or scared you're gonna get beat by one?" sam eggs on from behind, obviously enjoying this.
joaquin shook his head then, not wanting to let his ego get bruised as his eyes locked onto mine. "nah, just waiting for you to make the first move, princess."
before he knew it, i lunged, and my kick swept his ankles, sending him tumbling.
