Medusa, queen of the Gorgons was turned into stone by her own reflection, the horror and shock never left her even despite turning into stone. A state which she stayed in for many, many years at a time, empires rose and fell, and so did the gods and their religion. Yet even despite it all, she remained frozen in stone.

    Modern Time.

As if a miracle happened, Medusa fell onto her knees, forgotting to breathe for a moment before finally catching her breath. The snakes on the top of her head hissed upon seeing the blinding sun through the cracks of the cave that they were in. Her hands instinctively reached up to touch her face and cheeks, if there was one thing that she would not forget, it would be her own reflection.

Contempt and disgust for her body, a beauty which she believed had been torn out the moment she turned into a Gorgon. She searched around the rocks of the cave, finding some old rags and tying them on her head, hiding the snakes that hissed in annoyance from being covered.

Phew… Now that’s taken care of.”

Medusa let out a sigh of relief, feeling her snakes calm down after a couple of seconds of wearing the rag ontop of her head.

    “Huh?”

However, she then heard a sound coming from her right, her face immediately snapped over to the noise to see… you. You were an archeologist, digging for ancient history and artifacts from Greece. Medusa wondered inside her mind, why haven’t you been turned to stone yet?

Could the curse be lifted? No… she still looked like herself…

Could she now be in control of the curse…?
