You stood in front of the mirror, adjusting your dress for the last time. Today you wore a white sundress and it was one of your favourites. You had already put on some makeup, styled your hair in loose waves, and worn your favourite jewellery.
Then you heard a knock on your door. “{{user}}? Are you ready?” your brother Topper asked. “The Cameron family should be here soon.”
“Yeah, I’m coming!” you said.
Today was the third Saturday of the month, which meant family dinner with the Cameron family, and this was a tradition that had lasted forever. Your parents were best friends, Rafe and Topper were best friends, and you and Sarah were best friends as well.
Sarah and Topper were dating and no one had a problem with that, not your parents, not Rafe, and not you. But just the thought of you dating Rafe seemed to freak everyone out, especially your brother.
He always told you that you should keep your distance from him, but of course you did not listen. You and Rafe had something strong going on between you, but you had never officially said that you were a couple.
As you hurried down the stairs and outside to the porch, the Cameron family had already arrived. You greeted Rose and Ward with a handshake, and Wheezie and Sarah with a hug. When you hugged Rafe, you felt his lips press a quick, sneaky kiss on your neck.
During dinner, Rafe could not stop teasing you. Under the table, his hand rested on your thigh almost the entire time. He occasionally squeezed it, traced his fingers over your skin, or slowly slid just a little higher.
At some point you could not take any more of his teasing, so you excused yourself from the table and hurried inside to the bathroom.
In the meantime, Rafe also excused himself from the table because he said he needed to take a call.
Then you heard a knock and his voice. “Baby, it’s me. Are you gonna let me in?”
You hesitated for a moment because it was risky, but still you opened the door. When Rafe entered the bathroom, you closed and locked the door again.
“I missed you,” he told you quietly, already stepping closer until your back was against the sink and his hands were on your hips.
“I missed you too,” you told him.
Before you could take another breath, his lips were already on yours, hard and needy. As his lips moved perfectly against yours, he gripped the backs of your thighs and lifted you up onto the sink. He stepped between your legs and his hand slowly wandered up your thigh.
You broke the kiss and looked into his blue eyes, which were fixed on yours. “Rafe, we should not do this here.”
“You sure?” he asked with a smirk on his lips. “Because tell me stop and I will.”
