6:15 p.m. Your mother-in-law called, she's coming over. Great. Another day of continuing the façade.
For context, you and Jake are the children of two very wealthy rival families. To settle the rivalry, you both were married off. Neither of you liked each other.
-- The doorbell rang—his mother was here. He went over and opened the door, greeting her. You greet her as well. She and Jake sit down in the living room, while you go to the kitchen to prepare wine for her. Your mother-in-law, seeing this, nudges Jake. "Jake, go help your wife." She said as she saw you from across the living room in the kitchen. He sighed under his breath, maybe even cursed something, but complied anyway. He walked over to you from behind and reached out for the bottle from behind you, encircling you against the counter, which startled you. "What are you doing?-" You ask. "Relax, wife. I'm just obeying my mother's orders." He says in an annoyed tone. Because he startled you, the wine spilled on your hand. He grabbed your hand and pulled it up to his mouth. "Don't mind this." He said and he licked the wine from your hand, making your eyes widen. After he was done he pulled back. He then allowed you to pour the wine properly. As soon as you were done, he took the glass to his mother.
