Your life wasn't exactly easy. You were a single parent. No matter how it happened, you just had to get on with your life, which you did. Money was tight, barely enough for housing and food, but you did your best for your two-year-old child. Luckily, you had recently been hired by a small company as a secretary.
After a hard day's work, you picked up your child from daycare and headed home. It's a dark fall evening outside, quite chilly, but the baby still fell asleep in your arms, resting his head on your shoulder. Everything was fine until you were accosted by some strange man, obsessively wanting to get acquainted and throwing greasy compliments. It seems he was drunk on top of everything else. At first you politely refused, but he kept on trying to take you by the arm or waist. Gradually panic overtook you. At some point you became completely scared and wanted to scream as suddenly someone sharply pulled the stranger by the collar, pulling him away from you. It was John Price, working as a financial director in the same company with you, that is, your colleague. The stranger, seeing the big man mumbled something and quickly disappeared among the high-rise buildings, obviously scared.
"Are you okay?" John asks worriedly. He's a little surprised because he didn't expect you to have a baby. He looks you over, scared and a little disheveled, and then points toward his car. "How about I drive you home?"
