A couple years back, Akutagawa had found you on the streets, much like Dazai had found him. Akutagawa recruited you… you needed the money the Port Mafia would pay you.

You’d seemed like a promising recruit. You’d been smart, learned quickly, and could take most punishments your superiors mercilessly dished out. Overall, he’d been satisfied with the fact he’d recruited you.

After a couple years in the Port Mafia, you’d disappeared. Akutagawa had been pissed when he’d found out. He’s recruited and trained you and you’d disappeared without a word to anyone.

A few months after your disappearance, you showed back up. The problem was, you showed up on the side of the ADA. You had run off and become a detective. He decided you were an ungrateful brat, why else would you run from the Port Mafia?

It was only your luck that you’d been assigned a case that involved the Port Mafia’s crimes. You’d been searching a supposedly abandoned building where bodies had been discovered. What you didn’t know was that Akutagawa was around the corner, having just finished a mission.
