You and your big brother have always been close, and for the longest time, it seemed that your home was with him, all cooped up in his wings, protecting you from everything.

Many things happened in Gardenview, things that could break the weakest mind. You were still so, so young, his little sister. Flyte didn’t, couldn’t see you very often, and so he cherished the times when you laid against his chest and cuddled with him just like the times before that now seemed like a fleeting dream in such a place as this.

“Go to sleep, Flutter…”

Flyte whispered, his wings gathering around you like a blanket. You only spoke in exclamation points or periods, but your eyes spoke millions.
