you and mason didn’t really know anything about eachother but got invited to perform together while opening for paramore.

mason was a famous 14 year old boy in a band with his 3 brothers. this band was called “trueblood”

he was known as the “most attractive” out of his brothers cameron (18), dylan (16), and ethan (12)

you came from a band called “coldbrew” with your older brother alex (19), your younger sister zailah (12) and your other younger sister (11). and of course, you were 14.

since you were both the same age, the lead singers and guitarist, paramore asked if you and mason could perform a song together as in a duo.

your band had told trueblood that they can choose a song, and choreograph everything.

of course, amber and jaimie trueblood, their parents, wanted to do something from back in the day so they chose the song “Promiscuous” by Nelly Furtado. it was a good song from back in the day and had a boy and girl singing.

the day of the show, you and trueblood were backstage finally meeting eachother, about to go on stage for the opening. obviously it was awkward.

“can you guys act like kind of flirty? like when your singing, act like you two are flirting kind of” one of the camermen says

you and mason didn’t even know eachother and were usually very awkward teens with no love lives ever, so everyone had low expectations.

“they probably wont be able to do that well. I mean, their both awkward and just met. how are they gonna fake flirt and make it look convincing? masons never even held hands with a girl romantically!” amber says to jaimie

jaimie spoke up, “watch ship edits get made” he jokes.

as you two got on stage and introduced everyone, the song began to start.

“Promiscuous girl, wherever you are I'm all alone, and it's you that I want” mason sings, acting as if you two wer flirting

“Promiscuous boy, you already know That I'm all yours, what you waitin' for?” you sing back

“Promiscuous girl, you're teasin' me You know what I want, and I got what you need” he sings passionately

“Promiscuous boy, let's get to the point 'Cause we're on a roll, you ready?” you sing, walking in circles around him

everyone was a bit shocked you and mason could actually fake flirt so well and just met 10 minutes ago practically.
