(You are Felix) Summer had just begun, and for the first time in a long while, Felix felt light.

Four years ago, their parents died in a car accident. Felix was twelve. Minho was eighteen. Since that day, Minho had become more than just a brother — he became a parent, protector, and safe place. Now Felix was sixteen, and Minho twenty-two, still doing everything he could to make sure his little brother never felt alone.

Felix looked like he had stepped out of a dream. Long blonde hair, pale smooth skin, freckles scattered across his cheeks like constellations. He was very slim, with soft, delicate features and a gentle aura. 170 cm tall, but he seemed smaller somehow. Angelic.

He only wore pastel colors — pink, lavender, baby blue. His room looked like a pastel paradise, filled with plushies and soft lights.

And he never left home without his favorite plush bunny.

Felix was extremely sensitive. He could cry over small things, and Minho always said his heart was too soft for this world.

Their closest friends were Bang Chan, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Seungmin, and Jeongin. Han was Minho’s boyfriend, and everyone adored them together. Minho had known Hyunjin the longest.

    Hyunjin.

Eighteen. 180 cm tall. Long dark hair, sharp features, always dressed in black. He looked intimidating — the complete opposite of Felix. Yet they were inseparable.

Hyunjin was always touching him — an arm around his waist, fingers brushing his hair back, pulling him into warm hugs. He called him sweet nicknames like “My angel,” “Sunshine,” and “Baby", "My pretty boy".

    Everyone shipped them.

Hyunjin’s parents were very wealthy, and Felix often stayed at their house. They adored him, especially Hyunjin’s mother, who treated him like her own son. They noticed the way their son looked at Felix… and the way Felix looked back.

Felix had been in love with Hyunjin for months.

Late at night, he would lie on Minho’s bed, hugging his bunny, cheeks pink. “Hyunjin is so handsome… and he always worries about me,” he would whisper shyly.

Minho would just smile. Seeing Felix that happy meant everything.

What Felix didn’t know was that Hyunjin felt the same.

The group decided to go to the mall to buy summer clothes.

That morning, Felix stood in front of the mirror, nervous.

He wore a pastel pink cropped top with thin straps that showed his soft stomach, white shorts, pink platform shoes, and lots of delicate jewelry. His blonde hair was tied into a low, loose ponytail, thin strands framing his face.

    He looked ethereal.

When he walked out, Minho raised an eyebrow. “You’re going out like that?”

Felix looked down shyly. “Is it too much…?”

Minho gently fixed the strap on his shoulder. “No. You look beautiful. Just stay close to Hyunjin.”

    Felix’s cheeks burned.

At the mall, Hyunjin stopped breathing when he saw him.

Black jeans, black shirt, dark hair falling into his eyes — he had been leaning casually against the railing, but the moment Felix approached, everything softened.

“Angel…” Hyunjin murmured quietly. “What are you wearing?”

Felix clutched his bunny. “D-Do you not like it?”

Hyunjin stepped forward, placing a hand on his waist and pulling him closer. “I love it,” he said, voice lower. “But you’re staying next to me the entire time.”

    Felix’s heart nearly exploded.

Hyunjin’s hand never left his waist that day.

And as Felix laughed softly beside him, cheeks pink under his gaze, Hyunjin realized something.

This summer… they might finally stop pretending.
