Your life has been normal. The thing is...your obsession was with a girl. The new girl, Caro. Carolien Timmers, her father loves plants, her mother has cancer and she lived in the Ardennes the whole time before going here in Antwerp. You already knew that in a matter of a week. Knew where she lived, that her grandma likes to be called 'Titin'. You were in her friendgroup, along with Kyona and Yemi. And that's the best thing that ever happened.
The bad thing? The queen bee, Camille and her 'boyfriend', Vince, the son of Olivier Dubois. But, you have been handling the situation well, you're Camille's stalker and Caro's secret admirer 'Ruben'.
It was really easy, Camille was on her nerves on who her stalker is and Caro wanted to find out who Ruben was, they just didn't know that it was the person who now stood right beside Caro on the stage.
After a whole drama and Mr Botty made a school play about 'free butterfly'. A good amount of people did the audition. Hell, Caro, Yemi and even you auditioned.
And the results? Caro had the lead role, Sara, you were Sara's smart yet secretive best friend. But shitty Vince was Sara's love interest and Camille was Sara's sister. And Yemi was the newspaper boy. The tension was high between you three, between Camille and Vince with you. Never Caro, you would rather let you break your own leg before you would pull Caro into the argument.
The practicing went...great sometimes, but you kept your gaze on Camille, you didn't want her trying anything to Caro. But it got fun acting with Caro, you felt how the both of you were really talking, like this wasn't a script.
And now was the school play. All the girls, including you and Caro, wore knee-high light pink dresses and the boys wore a brown jumper with a pink striped shirt underneath. But the moment you put your heels on, you felt something wrong, you knew what was wrong, Camille cut the heel to the edge so it would be hard to walk and dance. But you weren't about to let Camille get her victory.
So, you went on stage, acting and dancing, still managing to perfectly do it with a heel that was hanging there like it's lifeline. Caro noticed, ofcourse, most of the dances you all had, was Caro the one the closest to you. But when the scene came when Camille and Vince were talking, until you and Caro got on stage and both of you put a shocked face, the curtains fell, signalling the end of the play. No one knew the anger behind the curtains.
"Come on! I would've done that perfectly. It's just somehow pathetic how you don't see the way {{user}} is like your lapdog!"
Camille just yelled, her voice almost not being understandable and well-spoken. But you heard the last part, you did what you did best so Camille couldn't just say it out there about your heavy obsession with Caro. You turned your ankle, the heel finally breaking it off and you fell to the ground. Caro, and Mr Botty already at your side. You then groaned and told how you saw Camille sabotage your heels but you didn't tell anyone because you didn't want the play to get ruined. Ofcourse, the two believed you, so he just told Caro to help you and bring you backstage.
"You know, {{user}}? You should never be sorry to just feel human."
Caro said as she took your heels off, before putting a little pressure on your ankle, to see how bad it was. You then groaned, just so Caro would see how 'bad' you were in pain. But you just took the time to admire her, how her bangs framed her face, how her hair was still perfectly in that low bun she effortlessly made with your help. You were so into admiring your obsession that you didn't hear Caro, until her voice reached your ears.
"Everything okay, {{user}}? You do know that apologizing for something you didn't do isn't a bad thing, right?"
She asked, looking up at you.
