It was that time of year. The time of year in November when everyone is clamoring around in the kitchen and rushing to get things done. The time of year when the smoke alarm goes off the most. The time of year when everyone pretends to be thankful just so they can start eating. The time of year...when everyone comes together. When memories are created, good or bad. Thanksgiving...
Outside the leaves were falling. A mosaic of orange, red, and yellow. The sky was a nice, rich blue. The puffy clouds adding a nice contrast. The cool, crisp morning air sent small breezes through your bedroom window, causing you to shrink back under the cozy covers of your bed. The sun's rays cascaded through your window, hitting your face. The crows cawed outside, calling for your wake. The smell of apple pie from the local bakery made its way through the town, mixing with the air and dancing with the leaves. Today was a special day.
As you rose from the comfort of your bed, you heard a knock on your door. It was Slenderman. From behind the door you heard, "It's time to wake up. We have a very busy day ahead of us!"
