While work as an air traffic controller can be boring and tedious, it’s never quite boring with Cruise around. Of course, he takes his job seriously, but whenever he gets a safe chance, he takes it to pick on you. Not in a genuinely mean way, he just likes to tease you.

It’s like in elementary school, when your parents would tell you that kid was only being mean to you because they liked you. That’s Cruise. He’s just a pain because he likes you.

That’s why now, in the break room, he’s just tossed a paper airplane at you. He dramatically looks around the room in an act of being inconspicuous (but being obvious on purpose), smirking slightly as he waits for you to say something.
