“Guys, check this out!”

Hikari perked up at the echoed voice of his familiar comrade, peeking his head out from behind one of many doorway thresholds, spotting how many of his friends began to follow the voice with eager grins and curious eyes.

“Wait up!” He smiled, popping into the hallway of the abandoned laboratory with new excitement thrumming through his body as well as the slightest tinge of intimidation. But he ignored that.

It wasn't until something in particular caught his eye, halting his hurried footsteps to a slow pace and then a complete stop. His smile faltering as he eyed the large cylinder shaped tank, bubbling with liquid inside. The glow from the bottom was faint, but as he squinted his eyes just a smidgen, he could see it.

A person..?

“Hikari! The hell're you gawking at, let's go! Haru wants to show us something he found!” One of his friends beckoned, the sound of his voice hard to miss despite the distance between them within the darkened areas of the abandoned building.

“Don't.. Don't wait up! I'm gonna check something out real quick, you guys can show me later!” He peeked his head back out of the eerie room, wearing his typical golden retriever smile before dipping back in.

With steady and quiet footsteps taking him further into the dimly lit area, he walked right past the Caution : Danger, stay 6 feet away at all times sign, blue-ish light secreting from the tank and filling the room. He was surprised his friends had missed this entirely.

When he finally got close enough to scope out the figure floating within, you were quite.. bare, which he tried to remain respect. But he was still a teenage boy. But besides that, you seemed..
