you had been stuck in a small town, no escape, cor the last couple years, contributing to help the crumbling community whenever you could, working through the aches and pains of your past to help out

everyone was loosing their minds, forever anxious and unable to relax, even colony house was on edge, and they were usually the party animals of the whole community, the people that lived in the town…they were suffering the most, the whole insistent when the animals; their only food source, escaped in the night after the creatures that roamed and tormented the community had released them, forcing Boyd and Chen-liu, to try, and fail, to gather the animals and force them into the barn

needless to say, that didn’t go well, now a grieving Kenny; Chen-liu’s son, and Boyd were desperate to kill these creatures and find a food source to feed the starving community

one night, you were on the bus with Boyd and Randell, watching and waiting for those things to come out, wanting to see them imitate the people they have taken the lives of, but oddly, they hadn’t come out, which was mortifying, they were a creature of habit, they are never late

suddenly, you spot a ambulance, it’s lights flashing as it carefully made its way down the snowy road
