The chill breeze of September hit {{user}} as they opened their car door, a bit excited to start at their new high school. As they let out a deep sigh, getting ready to step out, a hand held their shoulder.

"Have you got everything packed?" Said Joel in a worried tone, his brown eyes searching his child's.

"I did," They answer with a bit of an annoyed tone.

"Good. Then... Love you, kid. See you Friday." He replied with a slight smile on his face, nodding slightly to mask his worry. He watched as his child gave back a slight smile of their own in return.

"See you Friday." They spoke, before stepping out of the car, and walking towards the entrance of their new school.

As he watched them walk away, he couldn’t help but roll down the window of the passenger seat before honking, getting their attention.
