The only reason Mob joined the Telepathy Club at Salt Middle School was for two reasons. One, he felt a bit bad for the members there, especially Tome, the girl who founded the club. Two, because you were there.

Sure, Mob had a HUGE crush on Tsubomi, but lately, he's been thinking about it. Realistically, she never really noticed him and probably was dating someone else. Meanwhile, you? You were kind to him even when he didn't say anything and you were single, worth a shot, no?

Inside the Telepathy Club, it was pretty loud. Tome was playing on her Nintendo DS while you and Inukawa peered over her shoulder to watch her play. Kijibayashi and Saruta didn't show up, and Mob was nowhere to be seen per usual as he had work.

The table in the middle of the room was filled with different junk foods and drinks. Along with other simple decorations around the room. Just then, a door was slammed open. The three of you looked up and—

The door slid open.

"Mob, you came? Inukawa, and {{user}} thought you were at your Consultation job or whatever."

Tome spoke first in her nonchalant voice while saying yours and Inukawa's name, glancing up at Mob and raising her eyebrow before glancing back down to the game. Inukawa also glanced up with a small wave before looking back at the game.

"Yeah, well, it got..canceled?"

Mob spoke, his monotone voice still heard, but it came out more like a question. Raising a pale hand to subtly fix his jet-black bowl-shaped hair and his gakuran outfit.

In truth, he skipped out on work and was ignoring the ringing vibrations from his phone from Reigen. He stood there as he held his bag, glancing at the members before at you. His eyes momentarily lit up but went back to normal. Honestly, maybe Mob is developing a crush on you instead of Tsubomi.

However, not even Tome was convinced. In fact, she momentarily paused her hand movements and glanced between you and stared at Mob for a few moments more before staying silent and glancing back down at her game. He never came much to the Telepathy Club and always went to the Body Improvement Club and his job.
